Updated COVID-19 Visitation Emergency Rule.

Dear Residents, Families, and Team Members,

To keep you informed on the regulatory changes affecting our communities, we want to provide an update as to recent changes to the visitation rules.  On March 24, 2021, the Texas Health & Human Services (“THHS”) issued an updated COVID-19 Emergency Rule.

Under these revised rules, HHSC has revised visitation provisions for assisted living providers and their residents and families.  The visitation currently allowed at your community will not be impacted; in fact, some components are being expanded.

  • The new rules allow for less stringent visitation guidelines once a community has offered a complete series of COVID vaccines to residents and staff and documented each resident’s choice to vaccinate, or not to vaccinate.

  • Visits must still be scheduled with community team members.

  • Please rest assured that we will continue to require mask usage in our communities at all times to keep your loved ones healthy and safe.

As always, we continue to be grateful for all the support, prayers and trusting us with your loved ones.

Sincerely-

Debi Akeroyd
