COVID-19 Update
I wanted to take a moment and connect with our SilverPoint families to give a few updates regarding our communities. First of all, let me say thank you for trusting us with your loved one. I want to give you some assurance and comfort in knowing that we are taking COVID-19 very seriously. We have enhanced our practice and precautions to meet and exceed both the CDC guidelines and CMS guidelines. As of today April 2,2020 we can state that we have no known cases of COVID-19 at our communities.
I know that it is difficult to stay connected to your loved one during this quarantine situation. Here are a few ways we want to ensure that you stay connected and informed about your loved one and the community:
1.) Feel free to call your community Executive Director.
They are available to listen, support, communicate and provide guidance through this difficult time.
2.) Stay Connected.
We are here to support telecommunications between you and your loved one. Each community has an iPad available to schedule a time to video chat with your loved one. Please reach out to the community directly and they will assist you in not only setting a good time to connect, but will assist your loved one on the technology side.
3.) Send your loved one letters, cards or even video messages.
We will be sure to deliver them.
4.) Make sure that you are following us on social media.
We are posting multiple times a week to Facebook and Instagram.
I am so incredibly proud of our team members at the community! It is so encouraging to see not only their diligent attention to sanitation and protecting the community, but continuing to go above and beyond to make this time as engaging for our residents as possible.
One of our Core Values is FUN—we share moments of joy each day. Our teams have gone to great lengths to not only connect with every individual resident, but create moments of sheer joy in the midst of this difficult situation. We are singing songs together, having hallway dance parties and exercise, and team members are dressing up for theme days to create smiles throughout the community. Please know we are taking every step possible to avoid loneliness and isolation for our residents.
We will work to keep you informed as we continue to navigate this current crisis. Please let us know how we can continue to support and serve you during this time.
Sincerely
-Shawn Corzine
